My Story

As an Emmy-nominated, award-winning filmmaker and creative director, I have spent my career helping organizations and individuals translate complex ideas, lived experiences, and missions into powerful visual stories. Through documentary filmmaking, branded content, and strategic campaigns, I work closely with CMO in Residence clients to create work that is both emotionally resonant and aligned with real-world impact. My experience spans national broadcasters, major brands, nonprofits, and global audiences.

I partner with brands, nonprofits, and institutions to develop meaningful visual narratives that connect with audiences and drive action. I am especially drawn to projects that require both creative ambition and thoughtful problem-solving. I believe the strongest stories are built on trust, clarity, and deep collaboration.

As Co-Founder of Pixela Films, I have led the development and production of commercial, documentary, and hybrid storytelling projects for partners including ESPN, CNN Films, Verizon, Dell, Sam Adams and many more. My role extends beyond directing—I collaborate with clients on creative strategy, campaign development, animation, and long-term content planning to ensure each project serves a clear purpose and measurable goal.

My documentary work has focused on stories of resilience, identity, and perseverance. No Quit followed my father’s recovery from a traumatic brain injury and was featured on ESPN. FIBA Allow Hijab, co-directed and distributed by CNN Films and Uninterrupted with Executive Producer Lebron James, examined the journey of the first Muslim-American Division I basketball player facing international competition barriers.

Earlier in my career, I worked as an inner city high school art teacher and wrestling coach, experiences that shaped my approach to mentorship, leadership, and storytelling. Teaching and coaching reinforced the importance of empathy, discipline, and clear communication—principles that continue to guide my creative work today.

When I’m not working on projects, I enjoy mentoring emerging filmmakers and creatives, exploring new storytelling technologies, and continuing to learn from the communities and individuals whose stories I am honored to share.
